2024 MLB Playoff Championship Series MVP odds: Ohtani, Stanton favored; Judge chasing

While the regular-season MVP awards seem to be all but locked up, there is still the matter of NLCS and ALCS MVP, with the World Series MVP race on the horizon.

Shohei Ohtani is the heavy favorite to win the National League regular-season MVP, and he’s also atop the oddsboard in the NLCS race.

However, while Aaron Judge has the regular-season American League MVP award all but wrapped up, he has some competition from a few teammates in the ALCS MVP tilt.

2024 NLCS MVP ODDS:

Shohei Ohtani, Dodgers: +170 (bet $10 to win $27 total)
Mookie Betts, Dodgers: +380 (bet $10 to win $48 total)
Max Muncy, Dodgers: +500 (bet $10 to win $60 total)
Tommy Edman, Dodgers: +600 (bet $10 to win $70 total)

2024 ALCS MVP ODDS:

Giancarlo Stanton, Yankees: +175 (bet $10 to win $27.50 total)
Aaron Judge, Yankees: +250 (bet $10 to win $35 total)
Juan Soto, Yankees: +300 (bet $10 to win $40 total)
Jose Ramirez, Guardians: +2000 (bet $10 to win $210 total)

The rapid nature of the MLB postseason causes the odds to shift day-to-day, but as of Saturday, Ohtani remained the favorite in the NLCS, but Stanton took over on the ALCS board.

Through five games in the NLCS, Ohtani has two home runs, six hits and five RBIs. His massive three-run homer in Game 3 opened things up for the Dodgers to take a 2-1 series lead, and his lead-off homer in Game 4 gave L.A. an early lead which it rode to a 10-2 win.

Moving into second on the NL oddsboard is his teammate Mookie Betts, who has two home runs, eight hits and eight RBIs in the series.

As for the ALCS, Stanton is atop the board for the first time, after hitting two home runs in the last two games. He now has five RBIs in four games in the series.

Judge is second on the AL oddsboard, with two home runs and six RBIs in the series.
