Heading into Week 1 of the 2024 NFL season, superstar wide receiver Tyreek Hill was voted the No. 1 player in the league by his peers and was expected to make a lot of noise for the Miami Dolphins once again, with big numbers potentially coming from the veteran wideout.

Unfortunately for Hill, Sunday got off to a rocky start for arguably the best wide receiver in the NFL as he was arrested after getting pulled over in his car for a moving violation as he was headed to the game at Hard Rock Stadium.

What seemed like a routine traffic stop turned into an all-out fiasco that dominated the headlines before Sunday’s games got underway, leading to some doubt about whether Hill could play against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

However, things got cleared up quickly, and Hill was able to get on the gridiron to help his team beat the Jaguars in Miami, with the perennial Pro Bowler putting on a show with an 80-yard touchdown that was capped off by a handcuff celebration via Yahoo Sports.

With Hill dealing with such an ordeal with the Miami police before taking on the Jaguars on Sunday, it didn’t come as much of a surprise that he would have something special planned for a touchdown celebration, and it couldn’t have been more priceless as it was a direct shot at the cops that had arrested him hours earlier.

Although the Dolphins looked like they were going to lose this game throughout the majority of the contest, the team ultimately came out on top, with Hill playing the hero, as Miami topped Jacksonville, 20-17.
