The Washington Commanders are entering a new era in their history.

They have a new ownership group, a new coaching staff, a new quarterback, and now it seems like a new WR2.

Dyami Brown has been very impressive in the preseason and training camp, up to the point where they felt comfortable parting ways with Jahan Dotson, who they sent to the Philadelphia Eagles.

Even so, Brown isn’t satisfied with that.

As he showed recently, he cannot afford to take a day off, showcasing his remarkable work ethic.

Truth be told, Brown hasn’t had the most impressive start to his career.

Then again, sometimes, all it takes is a different system or coach to turn a player’s career around.

Brown has looked like a seamless fit on Kliff Kingsbury’s offense, and he’s clearly developed some strong rapport with his new quarterback.

Some players are late bloomers, and that seems to be the case with Brown.

The Commanders are a bit of a question mark entering this season.

Some believe they have the potential to be this year’s version of the Houston Texans and surprise everybody, as they have too much offensive firepower and a potential superstar at the quarterback position.

Others believe they will still need more time to get on the right path, as they inherited a subpar roster.

Whatever the case, one thing’s for sure: Dyami Brown will continue to work on his craft and prove that the team made the right choice by leaning on him.
