Eddie Hall, renowned as the former World’s Strongest Man, is not one to rest on his laurels and has now set his sights on a return to the fighting.

The 36-year-old has recently been venturing into the realm of mixed martial arts – such as when he participated in a unique two-on-one fight in the World Freak Fight League.

Hall took on TikTok superstars Jamil and Jamel Neffati – also known as The Neffati Brothers – and massively outweighed his two opponents.

The Polish duo came in to the fight at 20.7 stone combined, against Hall’s massive 26.2 stone advantage. That advantage eventually told, as Hall won the fight with a brutal knockout of his opponents in the chaotic third round.

When asked about the bizarre two-on-one fight that landed in his lap, Hall recalls the weighing up the ‘risk’ of the unique bout.

The strongman attended a recent UFC event with popular mobile game Clash Royale

Speaking to Mail Sport, the Clash Royale ambassador said: ‘Yeah, the 2v1 came around, very weirdly. I was just training for a big fight that got canceled, and then there was a 2v1 fight landing on my lap. And I thought, you know what? Sod it. Let’s go for a bit of a risk,’ he recounted.

‘But because of the size difference, I took it on. So it went very well.’

The two first rounds were somewhat cagy affairs, with the brothers circling the strongman without engaging in any combat.

However, all hell broke loose in round three, as Hall went for the jugular and annihilated the two social media stars.

But how does one prepare for such a chaotic and high-stakes environment? Hall’s answer is as straightforward as it gets: ‘You literally get two people in a ring, ring a bell and knock seven shades of s*** out of each other.’

As Hall looks to the future, he’s already deep in training, eyeing potential match-ups that could elevate his status in the MMA world.

‘Yeah, and I’m training hard, trying to get contracts done. As we speak, I’m trying to fight Mariusz Pudzianowski from Poland, so yeah, hopefully you’ll see me back in the ring pretty soon.’

The prospect of a bout against another titan of strength like Pudzianowski is enough to get fans excited and wondering what other surprises Hall has in store.

Hall also revealed that it will be an MMA bout instead of a boxing fight, such as his bout with Thor Bjornsson in 2022.

‘Yeah, I think I prefer MMA. I think it’s a lot more my style sort of fighting. Using my strength attributes to pin them down, you know, rip their arms off and whatever else. And, yeah, it suits me a lot better.’

One of the unique aspects of Hall’s journey is his relationship with UFC interim champion Tom Aspinall. ‘I sponsor Tom. Sponsor him like nutrition-wise and, yeah, I guess in return, we do a bit of training together.’

Training alongside Aspinall, who is considered one of the best fighters in the world, offers Hall a different kind of challenge. ‘It’s very humbling, you know, as big and as strong as I am, having a guy that can just manoeuvre you and put you in places can be quite humbling,’ he admitted.

While Hall may have size and strength on his side he acknowledges that sheer weight doesn’t guarantee dominance in the octagon. ‘Tom’s a big guy, you know, 120 kilo but, you know, I’m like 165 kilo, you know. So I’ve got a lot of weight on him, obviously, a lot stronger than him.

‘But that didn’t mean anything. He uses that against you, if anything.’ This acknowledgment speaks volumes about Hall’s respect for the technical prowess required in MMA, as well as his willingness to learn and adapt.

Hall also predicted that Tom Aspinall would ‘wipe the floor’ with heavyweight rival Jon Jones

Hall and UFC fighter Aspinall are friends and have previously trained MMA together

When it comes to the competitive landscape of MMA, Hall is not shy about making bold predictions. One fight that has been the subject of much speculation is a potential clash between Aspinall and the legendary Jon Jones. Hall is quick to weigh in: ‘Tom wipes the floor with Jon Jones if we’re being honest. And I think that’s why the fight will never happen.’

‘I think Jon Jones probably knows that and will try and avoid it so he retires always being a champion.’ Such sentiments add fuel to the fire of an already intense rivalry, and it’s evident that Hall believes in the capabilities of his training partner.

Eddie Hall’s journey from being the strongest man in the world to stepping into the unpredictable arena of MMA is a testament to his fearless character. It’s a bold move that could redefine what it means to be an athlete in the modern era.

Fans are eagerly awaiting Hall’s next move, whether it’s a fight against Pudzianowski, further training sessions with Aspinall, or his eventual ascension in the MMA world.

Clash Royale, a fast paced mobile strategy game and sponsors of UFC 306, announced Card Evolutions to its two most feared characters, P.E.K.K.A and Mega Knight, who have become even stronger in their new forms.
