Day 1: Drive To Queen Elizabeth National Park
Early in the morning drive off to Queen Elizabeth National Park. You will stop at the equator for photographs and then proceed to reach Queen Elizabeth National park following the Rwenzori mountain ranges. You will reach in the afternoon to go for a boat ride on the Kazinga channel. This boat trip will reward you with game like hippos, buffaloes and plenty of waterbirds. Dinner and overnight at Mweya Safari Lodge.
Day 2: Kyambura Gorge Chimpanzee Primates Tracking
This morning transfer to the Kyambura gorge to go track chimpanzees and other primates like colobus monkeys, Mangabeys, baboons, Bushbabies and many more. You will then have lunch and then drive off to Bwindi Impenetrable National park. This journey will take you through the Ishasha sector where you should watch out for tree climbing lions enroute to reach in the evening. Dinner and overnight at Gorilla resort / Buhoma homestead/ Buhoma community Bandas.
Day 3: Bwindi Mountain Gorilla Tracking Tour
Wake up and prepare for the unforgettable experience. You will have breakfast to transfer to the park headquarters for briefing before setting off to the forest to track for gorillas. The guide will brief you and at 9:00 am you will set off to the forest for these apes. The time you will take trekking these humble apes is unpredictable however it ranges between 2-9 hours depending on their movement. The activity requires you to go through steep rocks trekking up and down making it tiresome, however the thrill of encountering these giant primates erases the poor memories you went through in trying to find them. Dinner and over night at Gorilla Resort / Buhoma homestead.
Day 4: Return To Kampala
After this astounding experience we have to go back to Kampala. Have breakfast and hit the road to Kampala. You will have a stop in any of the districts for lunch to reach Kampala in the evening. Dinner and overnight at Hotel Africana / Serena hotel.
