At the start of every NFL season, it is fascinating to think about who the current face of the NFL is.

What player or coach is currently the main star in the NFL’s 2024 production?

Former Super Bowl-winning receiver Keyshawn Johnson believes the current face of the league is in Kansas City, Missouri.

“It’s Patrick Mahomes…Lamar Jackson should get the opportunities…If you really wanted to make it work, I can make it work in a heartbeat,” Johnson recently said on All the Smoke.

Johnson easily said Mahomes is the face of the league, but he also believes that Jackson, being a two-time MVP, should be getting more marketing opportunities.

Mahomes is getting chances to do commercials and be on the cover of video games while Jackson isn’t getting the same chances.

It is a good point by Johnson.

Besides winning a Super Bowl, there isn’t much else Jackson can do to prove that he is one of the league’s best stars.

The former Heisman winner is 58-19 as the starter in Baltimore, and he just recently took the Ravens to their first home AFC Championship Game in franchise history.

Heading into the 2024 regular season, which kicks off coincidentally between the Ravens and the Chiefs a week from tonight in Kansas City, Jackson and the Ravens will be looking to take it one step further and make it to the Super Bowl.

If Jackson can put together a magical season that ends with a Super Bowl, look for him to get a few more marketing chances at the very least.
