Jake Paul and Mike Perry will take the stage for the “Fear No Man” final press conference today (Thurs., July 18, 2024), LIVE at 2 p.m. ET in the embedded video above. This afternoon’s festivities mark the final stop (aside from tomorrow’s weigh ins) before their pay-per-view (PPV) boxing headliner on DAZN (stream it here).

Paul (9-1, 6 KOs) looks to preserve his upcoming Netflix fight against Mike Tyson in November, making his “Platinum” showdown a risky endeavor. As for the ex-UFC welterweight (0-1), he represents the bareknuckle bruisers in BKFC and has no plans to return home with an “L” to “El Gallo” — Paul’s latest and greatest nickname.

“I’m going to hit him and he’s not going to like it,” Perry told Morning Kombat. “I’m going to chase him around the ring, I’m going to make him tired and keep that pressure on him. In training it’s not about what he does; I don’t watch tape, I really don’t. Maybe my people do, but if I watched anything it would be highlights from the Tommy Fury fight.”

“He’s just not a boxer,” Paul said during his Face 2 Face with Perry. ”I’ve elevated to such a high level. People haven’t even seen my ability over the last year because I’ve gotten first-round knockouts. There’s no film, there’s nothing people can study out there for him to prepare for what I’m going to bring to the table. I’m just too sharp, too clean, I punch way too hard, power in both hands and he makes a lot of mistakes.”

Hard to imagine this one going to a decision.
