Former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou will make his Professional Fighters League (PFL) debut as he is set to battle Renan Ferreira in the main event of the promotion’s upcoming pay-per-view (PPV) event on Sat., Oct. 19, 2024. This will be “The Predator’s” first fight with the promotion after signing a deal in March 2023.
In the co-main event — which airs on both DAZN and ESPN+ — Bellator women’s featherweight champion, Cris Cyborg, will finally be making her PFL debut against current PFL titleholder Larissa Pacheco in a five-round super title fight.
Before then, all the main players will be taking part in a special pre-fight press conference later TODAY (Thurs. Aug, 22, 2024) inside The Anthem in Washington D.C. — sight of PFL 9 this weekend (Fri., Aug. 23) — to talk about their upcoming bouts.
Handling host duties is none other than “PFL Super Fight Athlete” Jake Paul, who is set to face Mike Tyson in a boxing match on Nov. 15, 2024 in Dallas, Texas.
