Since winning Super Bowl LII back in 2018, the Philadelphia Eagles have been looking for ways to get over the hump and win another title.

They came close in Super Bowl LVII, but fell just short to the Kansas City Chiefs.

The Eagles then went on to have a strong 2023 NFL season, before falling apart in the second half of the year and getting upset in the Wild Card Round against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Philadelphia will be looking to bounce back during the 2024 NFL season, though it won’t stop fans from reminiscing about their most recent title.

Even players get caught up in remembering the old days as Mack Hollins recently spoke with Chris Long about their title run.

During their conversation, Hollins revealed his favorite part of that season via Green Light with Chris Long.

“I think just the way that everybody kind of hated us,” Hollins said. “Like, it was so great. Like nobody thought we could win any games.”

There was definitely some level of hatred toward Philadelphia that season and it was likely due to their brash nature on the field.

Typically, fans like to root against teams and players who act like they’ve already won and that fit the Eagles’ personality at the time.

That sort of hate also comes with some jealousy as that Philadelphia squad was great on both sides of the field and could beat any opponent.

To this day, the Eagles still have their fair share of haters but that won’t stop them from operating the way they have.
