Stephen Curry has emerged as the greatest shooter in NBA history.
He changed the game forever, and while some believe that’s not a good thing, they’re not looking at the whole picture.
The only reason why Curry is able to hit shots from all over the court is not just because of his privileged gene pool or his God-given talents.
He’s put in countless shots in practice and has worked to master his craft and the art of shooting from all over the court, so no shot is new for him when he has to do that in an actual game.
Notably, Mike McDaniel is looking to take a page from his book.
According to Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald, McDaniel came across Curry at the Orlando Four Seasons during the offseason, and the Golden State Warriors star told him that his focus on the rim was the same in practice as it was in games.
McDaniel spoke to Steph Curry this offseason at the Orlando Four Seasons, when McDaniel’s family was visiting Disney world, and mentioned to us that Curry told him that his focus on the rim is the same in practice as in games. Message being do everything in practice as you would…

Now, the coach wants to take that same approach to his own team.
The Miami Dolphins have one of the best rosters in the game now, but they’ve failed to take a leap forward and put an end to their playoff win drought.
McDaniel now wants them to tackle every rep in practice as if they were playing an actual game.
That way, no situation will be overwhelming for them when it actually counts.
This will be a crucial season for McDaniel and the Dolphins, and it’s nice to see that he’s willing to listen to advice.
