Former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) bantamweight champion, Petr Yan, recently snapped his three-fight losing streak by securing a huge win over Song Yadong at UFC 299, his first win in 2.5 years. Now, “No Mercy” is calling his shot by asking for a return at UFC 310 in December, and he already has a name in mind.
Posting on social media, Yan revealed that he would love to face off against former UFC flyweight champion, Deiveson Figueiredo, in Las Vegas, Nevada.
I want to fight on the last ppv card of the year

Figueiredo moved up to the bantamweight division shortly after losing the 125-pound strap to Brandon Moreno, and has gone on to rack up three straight wins over Rob Font, Cody Garbrandt and most recently against Marlon Vera earlier this month.
Yan is currently ranked No. 3 in the division, while Figueiredo’s quick impact has helped him lock down the No. 5 spot on the official rankings. This fight makes all the sense in the world right now, so let’s hope the promotion books it.
There is no main event locked down for UFC 310 at the moment, but many believe it will feature the highly-anticipated return of Conor McGregor taking on Michael Chandler inside the T-Mobile Arena.
