Former ONE champ Reinier de Ridder is coming to UFC.

“The Dutch Knight” will test his might against longtime middleweight veteran Gerald Meerschaert, no stranger to hotshot newcomers. They’ll do the deed as part of the upcoming UFC Vegas 100 fight card on Sat., Nov. 9, 2024 inside the promotion’s APEX facility in Las Vegas, Nevada.

UFC Op Eurosport first reported the news on Wednesday.

De Ridder (17-2) parted ways with ONE Championship back in March, then picked up a technical knockout victory over Magomedmurad Khasaev on the international circuit before coming to terms with UFC.

As for Meerschaert (37-17), he’s the winner of two straight, having recently submitted Edmen Shahbazyan at UFC Vegas 96.

UFC Vegas 100 will also feature the 135-pound showdown pitting Cody Garbrandt against Miles Johns. Elsewhere on the card, Bernardo Sopaj and Ricky Turcios hook ‘em up at bantamweight, not long after Denise Gomes and Karolina Kowalkiewicz collide at 115 pounds.

Stay tuned for more UFC Vegas 100 fight card announcements in the coming weeks.
