The Dallas Cowboys aren’t a playoff team right now.
Record aside, they don’t have the makings of a playoff-caliber team.
This was expected by most experts and pundits, as they didn’t do anything to improve their roster in the offseason.
If anything, they got significantly worse with the players they lost.
With that in mind, and following one of the most lopsided losses in franchise history, Stephen A. Smith had plenty to say about them.
Talking on ESPN’s First Take, the controversial pundit — and well-known Cowboys hater — put together a list of the five things that are wrong with this team.

At No. 5, he stated that they have no running game whatsoever, even jokingly asking who is Rico Dowdle.
He thinks their offensive line is soft and that you cannot rely on Ezekiel Elliott at this point in his career.
Then, he talked about their defensive struggles.
Smith joked by saying that they should be called the Allas Cowboys because they play no D, as they’ve been down at least 15 points at halftime in four straight games, they’ve trailed by at least 20 in four straight games, and they’ve been outscored by 75 points at home in the first half of games this season.
At No. 3, he stated that Mike McCarthy’s coaching was a big issue.
He was critical of the former Green Bay Packers head coach, stating that he hasn’t learned anything from his previous mistakes.
Then, he talked about “his boy,” Jerry Jones.
Smith called out Jones for not signing a running back or improving the offensive line and still doing all that talking to the media.
Last but not least, he made fun of Cowboys fans.
Smith called them disgusting and stated that they made him sick, so his mentions on social media are going to be quite interesting for the next couple of days.
