Day 1 - Drive to Murchison falls National Park Have breakfast and drive off to Murchison falls National Park. You will go through the Luwero triangle, Budongo forest on the western arm of the East African rift valley. The journey will expose you to great sceneries that are picturesque to reach the park in the afternoon. You will drive to the top of the falls where the Nile perfects its beauty. Here you will see the calm Nile forcing its way through a narrow gorge of about 150ft down producing a thunderous roar of white-water: incredible scenery. You will then be transferred to board the ferry to Paara lodge/RedChilli/Sambya for dinner and overnight

Day 2 - Game drive Murchison falls National Park Take a cup of tea and go for a game drive before dawn to catch up with predators and early risers; This early morning game drive will reward you with game like jackals, hyenas, giraffes, lions, antelopes, elephant and the Uganda kob and many more. You will retire from the game drive for late breakfast and lunch and then in the afternoon, you will go for a launch cruise on the Victoria Nile. The boat trip will take you to the bottom of the falls where you will view animals like the buffalos, crocodiles, elephants, hippos, and plenty of birds like the fish eagle and the rare shoebill stock. Dinner and overnight at Paara/Sambya/RedChilli

Day 3 - Drive to Kibaale National Park Have breakfast and transfer to Kibaale National Park. You will reach in the afternoon. Have lunch and then rest. Dinner and overnight at Ndali lodge/Ruwenzori traveler’s inn

Day 4 - Chimpanzee primates trekking and fauna and flora and birding tour You will go and track chimpanzees in the forest and this will enable you to view other primates like the colobus monkeys, mongabays, baboons, bush babies and many more. You will move with a guide who will make your walk informative and productive, making it interesting. He will provide information on both flora and fauna have lunch and then in the afternoon walk to Bigodi wetland sanctuary for plenty of birds and rare fauna and flora. Dinner and overnight at Ndali Lodge/ Ruwenzori travelers’ inn

Day 5 - Drive to Semiliki National Park Very early in the morning, depart Kibaale for Semiliki National Park. The drive will take you down the eastern side of Lake Albert. Situated in the basin of the western rift valley Semiliki National Park is one of the parks with many inhabitants ranging from riparian forests, rain forests, to short and high grass savannah. Its also known for its Night Game Drive that rewards you with nocturnal dwellers like the  white tailed mongoose, and slender mongoose, standard and pennant winged night jars, cats, hyenas,  leopards and many more This is the only spot in Uganda where you can do a spot lit Night Drive. The park generally offers lots of surprises because; you never know what you might find. Overnight at Semiliki safari lodge/Kanyankyu Ecological Site (FB)

Day 6 - Wild chimpanzee trekking and game drive Have a cup of tea to go down into the beautiful gallery rainforest to track wild chimpanzees. These are usually trekked at dusk and dawn. Due to the fact that these apes tend to disappear in the middle of the day, there are also a number of bird species which are in this picturesque forest. Retire from the chimp trek and then in the afternoon you may relax at a pool or go for a game drive as you watch the sun dip. Dinner and overnight at Semiliki safari lodge/Kanyankyu Ecological Site (FB)

Day 7 - Drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park Head to Queen Elizabeth National Park after breakfast to follow the mystical Mountain Ruwenzori ranges. The journey will offer you with game en-route. You should watch out for game like the leopard, hyena, elephant, buffalo, and the king of the jungle - Lion. you will reach in the afternoon to have lunch and go for a boat trip on the Kazinga channel where you will view hippos, buffalos, and water birds at close range. Dinner and overnight at Jacana Lodge/Mweya Safari Lodge

Day 8 - Game drive, chimps, primates trekking safari Go for a prior to dawn game to catch-up with the early risers and predators returning to their conceal outs. This drive will reward you with game like lions, elephants, buffalos, hyenas, Jackals, Bush Bucks, bush pigs and many more. You will retire from the game drive for lunch at the lodge. In the afternoon you will go track chimps in the Kyambura Gorge. This will aid you see other primates like the colobus monkeys, baboons and others. Dinner and overnight at Jacana Lodge/Mweya Safari Lodge

Day 9 - Drive to Bwindi Impenetrable gorilla National Park Have breakfast and go for a game drive as you transfer to Bwindi impenetrable National Park. You will pass through the Ishasha sector to reach Bwindi gorilla in the late afternoon. These journeys will offer you with views of game and you should watch out for climbing lions in the Ishasha sector. After checking in the lodge, you may go for a community walk to be given a welcome entertainment. Dinner and overnight at Gorilla resort/Buhoma community bandas

Day 10 - Gorilla trekking, primates trekking Have breakfast and transfer park Head Quarters for briefing before setting of to the forest to trek for gorillas. The guide will brief you and at 9am and you will set off to the forest to these apes. The time you will take tracking these humble is unpredictable however; it ranges between 2-9 hours. Depending on their movement; the activity requires you to go through steep rocks trekking up and down making it tiresome however, the thrill of encountering these giant primates erases the poor memory you went through in trying to find them. An astounding experience Dinner and Overnight at Gorilla resort/Buhoma community bandas

Day 11 - Drive to Rwanda Have breakfast and drive to Rwanda. You will reach in the evening with time permitting you to go for a city tour to visit the market places, Franco-Rwanda cultural centre and the genocide memorial, dinner and overnight at the Gorilla forest camp/ Virunga lodge/ Kinigi guest house (FB)

Day 12 - Rwanda gorilla tracking, primates trekking Have breakfast and transfer to Parc Nationale des Volcanoes Head Quarters before you go trekking for gorillas with your packed lunch you will start gorilla trekking. The activity is demanding but still rewarding. It takes between 2-9hours. Depending on their movement; the experience derived from meeting these giant primates is unforgettable. Dinner and overnight at Gorilla nest/Kinigi guest house/Virunga Lodge

Day 13 - Lake Bunyonyi birding tour This morning have breakfast and drive to Lake Bunyonyi. Its a picturesque of spot doted islands and ringed with very steep terraces. After breakfast, we will depart to Lake Bunyonyi. The place is also known as a birders haven with plenty of water birds small and large from which the Lake derives its name - Bunyonyi - meaning small birds. Dinner and overnight at Lake Bunyonyi overland camp

Day 14 - Lake Bunyonyi canoe ride birding safari This morning you will go for a canoe ride on Lake Bunyonyi to explore the birds and over all area. Dinner and overnight at Lake Bunyonyi overland camp

Day 15 - Drive to Lake Mburo National Park Have breakfast and drive off to LMNP THE Park is well known for harboring plenty of antelope including the impala from which the capital city of Uganda, Kampala was named. You will go through some of the finest sceneries to reach LMNP. In the afternoon, you will have lunch and then go for a canoe ride on the shores of the lake. Dinner and Overnight at Mantana/Rwonyo Camp

Day 16 - Game drive and birding on lake Mburo National Park Have breakfast and go for game drive in the morning and in he afternoon to explore all the game and avifauna in the park, the park is referred to as a birders paradise with over 300 species recorded. Dinner and overnight at Mantana camp/Rwonyo camp

 

*SUNDAY* day 17 - Drive back to Kampala This morning have breakfast and drive back to Kampala. You will have a brief stop at the equator for photographs and crafts. Reach Kampala in the afternoon. Have lunch and rest at your hotel" In the evening, go for a Cultural presentational the Ndere Centre

Day 18 - Nature walk, Lake Victoria Ngamba tour Have breakfast and transfer to Lake Victoria shores for a cruise to Ngamba Island. The transfer will last approximately an hour. You will arrive at the chimpanzee sanctuary to be briefed about the sanctuary and then go spend some time with the chimps as they feed. It’s remarkable! Later you will go for a nature walk on the island with the young chimps. Dinner and overnight on the island at Ngamba Island camp

Day 19 - Forest walk, interaction with chimps on Ngamba Island You will go for a forest walk with the chimps in the morning following breakfast. It’s an interesting walk as the chimps climb on you; pull your hair or walk hand by hand with you. It’s awesome. Dinner and overnight at the Ngamba Island camp (FB)

Day 20 - transfer to Entebbe Have breakfast and transfer to Entebbe to catch your flight back home
