Paddy Pimblett has Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Lightweight title aspirations.

The midway point of the UFC 304 main card will see Pimblett tasked with his first Top 15 ranked opponent, King Green, in Manchester, England next weekend (Sat., July 27, 2024). Although the match up is the last on “The Baddy’s” current UFC contract, he has what he believes is a perfectly calculated route to what would be his first career title shot.

“Bobby Green, then I fight [Renato] Moicano,” Pimblett told New York Post Sports. “Moicano, ranked 10 at the minute but then he’s fighting [Benoit] Saint Denis, isn’t he? So, he could win or lose and could end up going up or going down. I’d love like Moicano and then [Beneil] Dariush would be perfect. What’s he? Ranked seven, ranked eight? Then, someone in the top five and then obviously go for the belt if possible.”

Pimblett, 29, has won five straight since he arrived in UFC, which has put him on a seven-fight win streak (21-3). As one of the bigger rising stars in mixed martial arts (MMA), the Brit has been vocal about feeling underpaid in UFC. If given the opportunity at some possible high-profile boxing matches, Pimblett is open to the challenge.

It might be your lucky day, Logan Paul.

“I’ll be negotiating after this fight,” Pimblett told Best Online Poker Sites. “One of these f*cking stupid influencers might get on and want to have me a boxing match for a couple of million. And I’ll be in!

Jake Paul has gained a little bit of respect from me,” he continued. “If Jake Paul sends a contract over for a couple of million dollars and wants to fight me, let’s do it. We’re prize fighters at the end of the day. That’s what people forget. We do this to get paid. It’s all about money.”

As for Jake Paul, the younger “Solution Child” will collide with former UFC Welterweight, Mike Perry, in the boxing ring this weekend (Sat., July 20, 2024).
