DAY 1: Drive To Queen Elizabeth National Park
You will meet our company representative to drive to Queen Elizabeth National park. You will have a stop at the equator or/and the royal drum makers for photos and a view of drum and how they are made using methods that have lasted for generations. You will continue to Queen Elizabeth National park to arrive in the late afternoon. Watch the sunset at the lodge and / or you may go for game search in the Mweya peninsula. Dinner and overnight Mweya Safari Lodge/Jacana Lodge
DAY 2: Chimpanzee Tracking, Launch Cruise, Game And Birding Tour
Early in the morning drive to the Kyambura gorge for chimpanzees tracking and other primates. Although the gorge is one of the most ignored place by tourist it offers splendid views of game especially primates. Alternatively you may go for a walk in the Maramagambo forest for chimps and a view of Bat caves and if lucky the pythons. In the afternoon you will go for a launch cruise on the Kazinga channel for game like hippos, buffaloes and plenty of water birds. Dinner and overnight Mweya Safari Lodge/Jacana Lodge
DAY 3: Drive To Bwindi Gorilla Forest National Park
You will go for an early morning game drive for game viewing and then drive to Bwindi gorilla forest national park through the Ishasha sector. This sector offers one an opportunity to view tree climbing lions. You will reach the park in the late afternoon to dine and spend the night at the Gorilla resort/ Buhoma Homestead.
DAY 4: Mountain Gorilla Trekking Tour
Have breakfast to transfer to the park headquarters for briefing before setting off to the forest to trek for gorillas. The guide will brief you and at 9:00 am you will set off to the forest for these apes. The time you will take trekking these humble apes in unpredictable however it ranges between 2-9 hours depending on their movement. The activity requires you to go through steep rocks trekking up and down making it tiresome however, the thrill of encountering these giant gorilla primates erases the poor memories you went through in trying to find them. Dinner and over night at Gorilla Resort / Buhoma homestead.
DAY 5: Drive To Lake Mburo National Park
Head to Lake Mburo National Park after breakfast to reach in the afternoon and have an evening game drive or nature walk or dugout canoe ride on the lake. Dinner and overnight at Mantana tented Camp/ Rwonyo camp.
DAY 6: Morning Game Drive And Return To Kampala
This morning go for game drive in the park. You will retire from the game drive for breakfast and lunch at the lodge and then in the afternoon or late morning drive back to Kampala to reach in the evening. Dinner and overnight at Hotel Africana / Serena Hotel.
