NEWCASTLE Falcons have appointed former England U20s boss Alan Dickens as senior coach as they look to break a run of 21 consecutive Premiership defeats. Dickens, 48, spent last season at Leicester Tigers as attack and backs coach but has chosen to join the Falcons as part of head coach Steve Diamond’s backroom reshuffle for the upcoming season.
